"This large estate of 136 acres continues to turn out spicy, peppery, kirsch-flavored Chateauneuf du Papes that are full-bodied, rustic, generous, and flavorful. The dark garnet-colored 1995 Chateauneuf du Pape offers up an intriguing spicy, peppery, seaweed, herbes de Provence, black cherry-scented nose. The wine is fat, with a heady alcohol content, excellent intensity, light to moderate tannin, and a fleshy, full-bodied personality.
