A ROMAN IRIDESCENT GLASS BELL-SHAPED FLASK
CIRCA 4TH CENTURY A.D., OR EARLIER
The bell-shaped body wound with spiral trail which extends over the base of the vessel, twin looped handles on shoulder, remains of applied trail around narrow neck; and a green glass flask, the wide neck decorated with a single applied trail at top and bottom, a turquoise spiral and zigzag trail around the body, silver iridescence, circa 4th Century A.D.

Formerly in a German private collection, acquired in the 1960s-1970s.
