EARLY 1ST MILLENNIUM B.C.
With long curving horns, coat with stippled decoration, upturned tail, beard and both ears pierced, standing on an integral ring base, a circular hole through its back for attachment, 2½ in. (6.5 cm.) high; a Persian bronze ibex buckle, the rectangular openwork plate decorated with an ibex, high curving horns in profile to the left, circa 3rd-2nd Century B.C., 3 x 2 in. (7.5 x 7 cm.) max.; and an Achaemenid bronze wild goat head, with high curving horns, alert ears and large almond-shaped eyes, circa 5th Century B.C., 1½ in. (4 cm.) long max. (3)
