CIRCA 500-490 B.C.
From a drinking cup with stem on underside, the tondo showing a seated bearded male figure inscribing a wax tablet, the tablet supported in his left arm and in his right hand a stylus, his drapery falling around his crossed legs, with faint traces of the painter's preparatory guiding sketches on the body, remains of an inscription in the field
