Lot Essay

This fragment relates to a statue of a falcon-headed god now in the Musées royaux d'Art et d'Histoire, Brussels, (no. E.5188) which was acquired in the 19th Century and recently published by B. van Rinsveld, 'Le dieu-faucon égyptien des Musées royaux d'Art et d'Histoire', The Bulletin of the Musées royaux d'Art et d'Histoire, 62, 1991, pp. 15-45.
