Lot Essay

The two seated figures on the saucer emblematic of October are the same as two on a tureen in the Landesmuseum, Schwerin, which is illustrated by Gustav Pazaurek, Deutsche Fayence-und Porzellan-Hausmaler (Leipzig, 1925), Vol. II, p. 322, fig. 273.
