AN IVORY MODEL OF A BOAT
NORTH INDIA, 19TH CENTURY
The long vessel carved with a peacock and an elephant terminal, with five surmounted figures underneath the howdah and a further twenty-two figures rowing on the sides, mounted on a wood base -- 24¾in. (63cm.) long.
