DROPE, Francis (1629?-71). A Short and Sure Guid[e] in the Practice of Raising and Ordering of Fruit-Trees. Oxford: [by W. Hall] for Ric. Davis, 1672. 8°. (Lower fore-corner of title margin torn away.) Contemporary speckled calf gilt, spine gilt in compartments with red morocco lettering piece, speckled edges (front pastedown torn, upper hinges split, lettering-piece frayed, extremities rubbed). Provenance: W. Massingberd (signature on front endpaper) -- remains of bookplate on rear pastedown.
