Large folding engraved map, hand-coloured in outline, and 31 plates, 19 double-page, by Vivares, Godfrey and others, engraved title-vignette and a few tailpieces, folding printed genealogical table (folding map clumsily repaired with sellotape at inner margin, a little offsetting and spotting). Contemporary English red straight-grained morocco, flat spine gilt and with green lettering-pieces, single fillet round sides, gilt turn-ins, gilt edges. Provenance: Sir Charles Chadwyck Healey (armorial bookplate) -- Major Abbey's copy (armorial bookplate and note at the end stating that he bought it at the Chadwyck Healey sale at Hodgson's 16 April 1942, lot 231).
