Lot Essay

There are two entries for a George Roberts in the Royal Worcester records. One is for a gilder, noted as signing his work with a TR monogram, recorded at the factory prior to 1898; the other for a painter and lay preacher, signing Geo. Roberts, circa 1917. Please note the present example is amongst the largest ever produced.
