A MINTON TURQUOISE-GROUND FOOTED PRESENTATION BOWL
1850-1870, PUCE CROWNED AND ERMINE MARK
Of bulbous form, the rim flanked by two curved upright handles and moulded with a key-pattern band, finely painted with a continuous scene of families and courting couples relaxing in a garden by a pond, above a scrollwork band, the lower body moulded with spiraling gadroons applied with gilt ivy, on a beaded socle above a circular foot moulded with acanthus and stiff-leaf tips
