See Bernard Bumpus, Pâte-sur-Pâte, The Art of Ceramic Relief Decoration 1849-1992, Essex, 1992, p. 146, fig 111 for a cache-pot also emblematic of the Arts. Also see anon. sale, Christie's, New York, 20 April 2005, lot 137 for a very similar example.
