Lot Essay

Pierre Fléchy maître in 1756.

Pierre Fléchy was located in the rue du Faubourg-Saint-Antoine, a district where most of the cabinet makers of the mid-18th century were based. It seems that he mainly specialised in the construction of commodes, usually decorated with parquetry or marquetry, but also sometimes with lacquer. One of his commodes is in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
