The tureen oval bombé form, on four scroll feet with acanthus and foliate joins, the two branch-form handles with foliate joins, the domed cover with artichoke and foliate finial, and a detachable liner, the stand shaped circular with a reeded border and foliage at intervals, marked on body, base stamped Puiforcat France, the cover marked on bezel, liner, and reverse of stand
