This caddy relates closely to a bowl by Khecheong, illustrated in H. A. Crosby Forbes, Chinese Export Silver, 1975, p. 188, fig. 107. The leaf and pellet foot is one of the most characteristic features of Chinese export silver of the period, and this bowl and caddy also share the distinctive acanthus leaf with down-turned tip.
