Of pear form, on square base supported by four ball-and-claw feet, with pierced trellis and quatrefoil band, the body with two wooden handles with leaf-clad joins, the spout with leaf-clad join and ivory knob, the domed cover with flame finial, the body engraved with a coat-of-arms, the base and cover engraved with a crest and motto above, marked under base and on cover bezel, the body apparently unmarked
