Rectangular tray on four baluster feet, the tray with incurved corners, the rim chased with leaf-tips, fitted with a cylindrical inkwell with hinged cover, and sander with pierced cover and bell, the tray engraved on each side with later arms within contemporary cartouches, the pots and bell engraved with a later crest within contemporary cartouches, engraved under base with scratchweight 66 oz, marked under tray, on bell, bases of pots, the sander cover apparently unmarked
