Further details
First edition of a short anonymous epistolary novel, mainly concerned with birching. The Private Case copy in the British Library apparently lacks the coloured lithographic plates, which are present in the Nordmann copy and directly relate to the text. The date given is that suggested by Kearney, but the publication is probably a little older.
