Reliure de l'époque en demi-maroquin bleu à long grain à coins (très infimes usures).

BON EXEMPLAIRE DE CET OUVRAGE TRÈS RARE. Ashbee indique que le tirage fut limité à seulement 100 exemplaires. Il note: "The object of this volume was to reproduce in form of a book the erotic plates by Rowlandson, which had been issued separately, about 1800...". Le Bibliophile fantaisiste (n° 1, juin 1869, p. 47), pseudonyme derrière lequel se cache Jules Gay, parle de ces planches comme "DE LA PLUS GRANDE RARETÉ". Kearney 1607; Ashbee Centuria, pp. 346 à 354.
