A PAIR OF LATE GEORGE III MAHOGANY ARMCHAIRS
CIRCA 1765, POSSIBLY SCOTTISH
Each with an arched shaped back and bowed seat covered in associated gros and petit point needlework with floral cartouches on yellow ground, the outcurved arms above square tapering legs with filleted angles and joined by an H-shaped stretcher, one with one and the other with two seat-rails branded 'CD' and underside of stretcher stamped '1809' and '100', one back-rail later (2)
