MARK OF EDWARD ALDRIDGE, LONDON, 1747
Shaped circular, on four mask-capped feet, the sides pierced with lattice, the rim cast with openwork foliage scrolls and flowers, with an overhead swing handle with two busts, engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked under base, the base also engraved with a scratchweight '61=2'
14 5/8 in. (37 cm.) long; 59 oz. (1,830 gr.)
The arms are those of Killigrew, quartering those of Petit.
