The rectangular bevelled plate within an egg-and-dart border surmounted by a scallop-shell flanked by foliate scrolls, above the shaped apron with conforming foliate scrolls, the reverse stencilled '155' and with paper label printed 'PALL MALL DEPOSIT & FORWARDING Co. Ltd. /...' and inscribed in blue crayon 'Mr. Pollitzer' and in red crayon '13', restorations to decoration, with traces of original oil gilding and two later layers of oil gilding
