etching, 1939, on Montval watermark Vollard, signed in pencil, from the edition of 250 (there were also 50 with wider margins), with full margins, pale light-, mat and time staining, minor surface soiling, two foxmarks in the right margin (one at the platemark) and other occasional minute foxmarks (mainly on the reverse), old staining in the margins (presumably from old hinges), old tape remains in places at the reverse of the extreme margin edges, otherwise in good condition, framed
