Soviet American Arrays are prints from Robert Rauschenberg's international project, Rauschenberg Overseas Culture Interchange (ROCI) begun in 1985. This project took him around the world over a six year period collecting images and creating art that traced his experiences. As he traveled, he created works to be shown in exhibitions organized for each specific country with the objective to achieve world peace and understanding.
