Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1954 and its subsequent sale on 23 November 1954. Furthermore delivered with a copy of the invoice from Patek Philippe for overhaul of the watch in 2000.

Reference 2520 was launched in 1951 and only a small series of this model was made until 1954. It is certainly one of Patek Philippe's most daring and artistic case designs.

The present watch is one of only six examples of reference 2520 known to date, three in pink gold and three in yellow gold.
