Cal. 6''' circular nickel-finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf's tooth winding, the silvered matte dial with black hard enamel baton and Arabic numerals, concealed under a hinged circular-cut diamond and calibré-cut ruby-set cover, in circular case with snap on back, circular-cut diamond-set bezel, the ring band with stepped sides, case, dial and movement signed

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming manufacture of the present ring watch set with diamonds and rubies in 1912 and its subsequent sale on 11 October 1938.

Ring watches by Patek Philippe, especially dating from the 1930s, are exceedingly rare. More commonly Patek Philippe supplied the movement only to a jeweller who would then fit it into the ring. It can therefore be assumed that the present ring watch was made by Patek Philippe by special order.
