Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1978 and its subsequent sale on 2 June 1978. Furthermore delivered with a black leather fitted presentation box. The present watch has never been offered in public before.

The celebrated Nautilus model, reference 3700/1, was launched in 1976 and is described and illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 231.
