Panerai. A large stainless steel self-winding cushion-shaped special edition diver's wristwatch sold for the benefit of the WWF Mediterranean Programme
The following two lots, numbers 230 and 231, are part of a series of Luminor Marina models sold by Officine Panerai for the benefit of the WWF Mediterranean Programme. Several dozen renowned personalities from the world of art, culture, business, politics, sport and show business agreed to have the backs of two Panerai Luminor Marina watches engraved with the facsimile of their signatures. The watches were then auctioned by Christie's at a Gala Evening at the Palazzo della Triennale in Milan.
