Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1969 and its subsequent sale on 28 July 1969. Furthermore delivered with original fitted black leather presentation box and outer cardboard packaging.

The "Naviquartz" was publicly presented at the 1970 Basel Fair whereas the present example was manufactured already in 1969. It is thought to be one of the earliest example of this model made and also the earliest known to appear in public to date.
