Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1948 and its subsequent sale on 29 October 1958. It has never been offered in public before and is believed to be one of only two examples of this reference in pink gold to appear in public to date.

Reference 2407 was launched in 1945 and fitted with three different calibres, 10'''105, 10'''110 and 10'''200. The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 153, pl. 224.
