Lot Essay

According to the Archives of Audemars Piguet, the present watch was sold in April 1922 to Gübelin in Lucerne. Originally made with a white gold case, it was returned to Audemars Piguet on 28 July 1923 and the case was exchanged against the present, platinum and enamel one.

This minute repeating dress watch features the very typical meander pattern on the bezels and the bow, normally only found on Audemars Piguet's celebrated triple complications.
