AN UNUSUAL CHINESE SOAPSTONE INLAID HARDWOOD TEA-CADDY

Of rectangular shape, the top with a recessed rectangular panel painted and inlaid in soapstone carvings depicting a lady and her attendant in a terraced garden, surrounded by smaller panels of dragons and florets on a lattice ground, the sides similarly decorated, the top fitted with a white metal handle
