MID-18TH CENTURY, THE CABINET RE-USING EARLIER LACQUER PANELS AND DRAWERS
Decorated on the front of the panelled doors with a Chinoiserie landscape with pagodas, with engraved key-plates and hinges, the reverse of the doors and the sides of the cabinet decorated with exotic birds in a foliate landscape, the fitted interior copying a Chinese exemplar with letter racks and drawers, the stand with foliate decoration, pierced spandrels and chamfered legs on block feet, with scratched signature "X Brollu?"
