The later simulated marble serpentine top above a conforming frieze of scrolling foliage on a basket-work background centred by a fleur-de-lys, on foliate carved cabriole legs joined by a X-shaped stretcher centered by a plinth, with 18th century paper label inventory number 605, another indecipherable label, a later stenciled inventory number No.316, branded inventory number to the reverse "K" and "S" either side of a shield, enclosing the number 9, the decoration refreshed
