拍品专文

Ralph Jentsch has confirmed the authenticity of this work.

In 1920, Grosz married his fiancé, Eva Louise Peter, and began work as a costume designer for his first play Caesar and Cleopatra by George Bernard Shaw. He would continue to create designs for the theater until 1930. The present work depicts a costume design presumably for the play Androcles and the Lion.
