Helmet shaped and with a reeded base, with a reeded scroll handle, later engraved with an initial 'M' below a Royal Princess' coronet, marked under lip
4 5/8 in. (11.6 cm.) high
5 oz. (160 gr.)
The initial is that of H.R.H. The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon.
Provenance
Used on the table in the Dining-Room of the Private Apartment of H.R.H. The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon at Kensington Palace.
