The cannon handles engraved with scrolls and strapwork and with tortoiseshell blades, engraved with an initial 'M' below a Royal Princess' coronet, marked near blade, contained in a fitted red leather case, labelled 'PUIFORCAT ORFÉVRE PARIS', the cover applied with a brass plaque engraved with an initial 'M' below a Royal Princess' coronet
the case 14 in. (35.7 cm.) wide
The initial is that of H.R.H. The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon. (24)
