Shaped circular and on three leaf-capped scroll feet, with Lamerie pattern border, engraved with an inscription below a badge, marked on back, further stamped 'Garrard & Co. Ltd. 112 Regent St. London W.'

The inscription reads 'Presented to Her Royal Highness Princess Margaret by the Treasurer and Masters of the Bench of the Middle Temple on the occasion of Her Marriage 6. 5. '60.'
The badge is that of The Middle Temple.
