Oblong with canted corners, the sides applied with diamond mounted gold and silver drapery swags, the base applied with an openwork mount, the hinged cover with an egg-and-dart border and with an applied twisted drapery motif and a central foiled cut paste within a diamond border, marked on rim and with French import marks, contained in a fitted purple velvet case
