CIRCA 1820, IRON-RED MARKS, PATTERN No 3158
Painted with borders of roses and alternating gilt flowerheads within gilt ovolo and dentil rims comprising:
An octagonal section teapot, cover and stand,
A two-handled octagonal section sugar bowl and cover,
An oval cream jug,
A slop bowl,
Two saucer dishes in sizes,
Twelve teacups
Six coffee cups

Possibly given to H.R.H. The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon on the occasion of her marriage to Antony Charles Robert Armstrong-Jones, Earl of Snowdon, on 6 May 1960, by The Marquess and Marchioness of Douro, Park Corner, Heckfield, Basingstoke, Hants.
