The bowl circular and on stepped foot, with two applied bracket handles, engraved on one side with an inscription and on the other three regimental badges, marked near handle
8½ in. (21.5 cm.) long
11 oz. (330 gr.)
The inscription reads '157 (Lowlands) Infantry Brigade Territorial Army July 1962.'

The badges are those of the Royal Scots Fusiliers; The Highland Light Infantry and The Glasgow Highlanders Light Highland Infantry.

Presented to H.R.H. The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon by the 157 (Lowlands) Infantry Brigade on 27 July 1962.

Princess Margaret as Colonel in Chief of The Royal Highland Fusiliers (Princess Margaret's Own Glasgow and Ayrshire Regiment), visited the Territorial Army's 5th/6th Battalion, Highland Light Infantry, the 1st Battalion, the Glasgow Highlanders and the 4th/5th Battalion, Royal Scots Fusiliers at Millom, Cumberland on 27 July 1962.
