Lot Essay

The glass tray relates to those incorporated in tea-tables and manufactured by the celebrated Parisian ébéniste Francois Linke (d.1946), manufacturer of 'Meubles d'Art' and contributor to the 1900 Paris Exposition Universelle, and 1905 Exposition Universelle & Internationale de Liege (see C. Payne, Francois Linke, Woodbridge, 2003).
