Mark of Gerrit Boverhof, Amsterdam, 1758, also struck with later Dutch duty mark of 1795 for Amsterdam
Bullet-shaped, the plain kettle with upper band engraved with trelliswork, rocaille and scrolling foliage, shaped spout and overhead part wood scroll handle, hinged domed cover with wood baluster finial, the stand on three double scroll supports with baluster detachable central lamp with non-matching later cover, marked on base, stand and lamp
