A large Dutch wood and silver-mounted crucifix
Maker's mark double V conjoined with crown above, possibly Southern Netherlands, late 17th century
The wood base cut with scrolling foliage, the detachable silver mounts chased and engraved with scrolling foliage, flowers and cherubs, the crucifix applied with the silver figure of Christ and the Sacred Monogram above, marked on mounts
