Maker's mark unidentified, German mark used after 1883, crescent, crown and the 800 silver mark, Germany, circa 1900
Set on six compressed spherical supports, a hexagonal stepped domed base decorated with flower motifs, the hexagonal plinth embossed and chased with flower vases and foliage, the knobbed cylindrical stem fitted with eight curved knobbed branches, each terminating in a vase-shaped candle socket with removable candleholder and a beaded drip pan, the centre surmounted by a ball and a Star of David, fitted with a matching servant-light, marked on base
