RUSSIAN, 18TH CENTURY
Portrayed winged and crowned, blowing a horn, carring the Gospels and a censer, and casting his spear into the pit of hell, thus announcing the Lar Judgement. At the right upper corner, Christ is represented behind an altar. The icon is supplied with a multitude of texts from the Apocalypse.
