A rare Lambert black smoker automaton by Lambert
with character bisque head, black hair wig, gold top hat, composition hands, original red silk tails, white shirt and black breeches and shoes, pocket watch chain emerging from waistcoat, cigarette holder and lornettes, standing on red cut velvet covered base containing single air musical movement which operates hands, head and internal bellows for smoke effect, circa 1880 --24in. (61cm.) high
