The present work was purchased by the present owner from Major Gerald Burdon. Gerald Burdon was a British Liaison Officer to Josip Boz Tito between 1943-1944. Tito was the leader of Yugoslavia between the end of World War II and his death in 1980. Major Burdon knew Churchill and had a great admiration for him.
