NO. 2 OF 20 COPIES. This was the first of the privately-published booklets in Ashley-Cooper's Feats, Facts and Figures series. All were first printed in the weekly magazine, Cricket, this issue appearing in four parts between 27 September and 21 December 1899. The author's concise and incredibly painstaking arrangement of star performances and under achievements includes the feats of the visiting Australians, Trumper then being on his first tour of England. This presentation copy is of special significance since C.W. Alcock, secretary of Surrey C.C.C. since 1872, was the founder and editor of Cricket from 1882 to his death in 1907.
