A LARGE RESTORED FRENCH PRISONER-OF-WAR MODEL OF A 100-GUN FIRST RATE SHIP-OF-THE-LINE
with planked and pinned hull, ebony wales, carved stern and quarter galleries, planked decks with detailed fittings including hammock racks, companionways, capstans and well-deck, masts with stun's'l booms and rigging, mounted on an inlaid and ballustraded base contained within a glazed wooden case with display plinth (base replaced, overall restoration to model and rigging). Model measurements -- 28 x 40in. (71 x 102cm.)
